NAIDOC

At Boggabilla Central School, NAIDOC Week is a special time to celebrate and honour the rich histories, cultures, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Throughout the week, students take part in a range of cultural activities, storytelling, art, dance, and community events that strengthen connections to Country and culture.

NAIDOC Week at BCS is more than an event — it’s an opportunity to come together as a community to learn, share, and celebrate the world’s oldest continuing culture.

Farm to Future

Our Farm to Future event celebrates hands-on learning, sustainability, and innovation in agriculture. Students engage in real-world experiences that connect classroom learning to future career pathways in farming, food production, and environmental management.

Farm to Future is a proud example of our school’s commitment to practical learning, community connections, and preparing students for meaningful futures in rural industries and beyond.

Assemblies

Our fortnightly assemblies bring the whole school community together to celebrate learning, achievement, and positive behaviour. Students, staff, and families share in recognising individual and class successes, school values, and upcoming events.

These gatherings help strengthen our sense of community, encourage student voice, and promote pride in our school. Each assembly is a chance to connect, reflect, and celebrate all the great things happening at Boggabilla Central School.
